So…….What exactly is a financial coach?
Well, imagine if a life coach, a personal finance expert, and a behavior expert had a baby. That would be a financial coach. As a financial coach, I am a financial professional who specializes in helping others with their behaviors, emotions, psychology, and systems around their money. I work with all general money goals and concerns, and my specialties are helping couples create unity around their money, and empowering women to step into their role as financial manager. My super powers are “Budgets, Boundaries, and limiting-Beliefs.”
Working with a financial coach is rapidly increasing in popularity because of the highly effective one-on-one approach to solve financial problems and achieve financial goals.

How much does coaching cost?
The cost of 6-months of financial coaching is comparable to the cost of one college class and demands about the same amount of time, minus the essays and exams. You are your best investment, and, like all good investments, if you commit, it will bring BIG returns to your wallet and your life.
The length of coaching depends on the complexity of your individual circumstance and what your goals are. While I do offer single sessions, 3-6 months has the best results for most people, and many clients like to continue for 9-12 months and then “graduate” to quarterly or annual tune-ups.

Is it worth it? How can I get the most out of coaching?
How much are your dreams and financial freedom worth to you? What would you give to have solid unity with your spouse? What value would you put on being in control of your money and having hope and confidence in your future?
According to University of Wisconsin-Madison’s research on financial coaching, 87% of clients are satisfied-highly satisfied with their experience and investment in coaching. My clients have a higher satisfaction rate than that.
Is the way you are managing money now worth it?
Are you on trajectory now to get you where you want to be financially? Do you have patterns of self-sabotage or frequently have the rug pulled out from under you? Will your current patterns with money get you where you want to go?
Financial coaching is not for everyone. Coaching is for people who recognize and admit to themselves that status quo is simply not good enough. They are ready to commit to and invest in a more powerful financial toolbox to solve their problems and achieve their goals. Coaching is for people who are ready to focus on becoming masters of their money, who are willing to have hard conversations and want to do things a new way.
I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all solutions. My toolbox is deep and heaping, and I love to help people find the tools and methods that work for THEM.

What does the coaching process look like?
It is impossible to determine a course, a length of travel, and what equipment to bring until you know where you are and where you want to go.
- Coaching is offered through the phone or Zoom, whichever is most comfortable for you.
Step 1: Initial Consultation
Preparation: One simple financial snapshot form filled out at least 24-hours before consultation–this is light, simple, “first date” kind of stuff.
Purpose: Get a general idea of what help is most beneficial and if we are a good fit. Coaching is an investment of time, energy, and money; we want to clarify expectations on both sides before we commit to anything.
Step 2: 60 Min Session
Preparation: Payment, completion of a short session prep form, and applicable homework is required at least 24- hours before session.
Purpose: You are more than your numbers. I will help you identify what you want to achieve with your money and break it down into simple, achievable steps.
Step 3: Work Plan Together
Preparation: Session prep form and completed homework is required at least 24 hours before each session.
Purpose: You and your situation are unique so there is not a template answer for this step. The common flow is to celebrate your wins, review your budget and the habits you are developing, explore areas that are challenging, and brainstorm solutions.
